To ask the Minister for Women and Equality with reference to the Equality and Human Rights Commission's press release of 11 December 2009, on the Hirst decision of the European Court of Human Rights, what representations she has received from the Equality and Human Rights Commission on giving convicted prisoners the right to vote.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission has made no representations to the Minister for Women and Equality on giving convicted prisoners the right to vote.
