To ask the Secretary of State for Health pursuant to the answer of 11 January 2010, Official Report, column 758W, on hotels, what the cost of his Department's hotel booking contract has been since 2007.

The Department uses a framework contract let by the Office of Government Commerce for its hotel bookings. The Department pays no fees for the use of this contract and the use of this contract enables the Department to make savings against the bookings made.

The total cost of hotel bookings made since 2007 through the contract are as follows:
