To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what average time is taken for Atos Healthcare to deliver to the business user of the medical services contract a report following a work capability assessment; and if she will make a statement.

Atos Healthcare Medical Services are contracted to deliver new claims for employment support allowance requiring a work capability assessments to the business user in an actual average clearance time (AACT) of 35.0 working days. In November 2009, Atos Healthcare achieved an AACT of 33.5 working days.
