Children, Schools and Families written question – answered on 14th December 2009.
To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families what his most recent estimate is of the number of schools at risk of flooding.
This information is not held by the Department. However, the DCSF is currently undertaking research as part of its departmental adaptation plan (to be published in spring next year) which includes work to map flood risk in schools in collaboration with the Environment Agency.
