The Home Office does not provide funding directly to the National Public Order Intelligence Unit. Funding is provided by top-slice of the police grant and a contribution from the Metropolitan Police Service.

We do not disclose details of grants provided to individual units on security grounds. Nor do we disclose details of the numbers of staff employed by individual units.
