To ask Her Majesty's Government whether the concept of equality as a human right applies to the island of Ireland as a result of the Belfast agreement of 1998.
The concept of equality as a human right in Northern Ireland is addressed in my Answer of 24 February 2009 (Hansard, col. WA 64).
Policy on equality in the Republic of Ireland is a matter for the Irish Government.
