To ask Her Majesty's Government what financial and human resources they have provided to the Churches' Child Protection Advisory Service in each of the past five years.

Under the Safeguarding Children and Supporting Families Grant programme, the department provided funding of £15,000 in 2004-05, £8,000 in 2005-06 and £5,000 in 2006-07 to the Churches' Child Protection Advisory Service. It will also be receiving £78,000 in 2009-10 and £33,000 in 2010-11 under the Children, Young People and Families Grant programme.
