To ask Her Majesty's Government how many complaints the Audit Commission dealt with in each of the past five years regarding (a) parish councils, (b) district councils, (c) borough councils, (d) metropolitan borough councils, and (e) county councils; and of those complaints how many were (1) upheld, and (2) dismissed; and how much the Audit Commission charged each tier of local government to cover the costs of the complaints.
