Peripatetic teachers who are employed under a contract of employment by local authorities are covered by the School Teacher's Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD) in the same way as teachers who are employed wholly in specific schools. The STPCD is revised each year to take account of any changes in the pay and conditions of teachers in the light of recommendations from the School Teachers Review Body.
