To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what recent discussions he has had with representatives of broadcasting companies on language standards in broadcasting.
I regularly meet representatives of broadcasting companies to discuss a range of issues.
Content standards are a matter for broadcasters and regulators working within the overall framework set by the Communications Act 2003 and the BBC Charter and Agreement.
