To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs how much his Department has spent on joint research projects of each type with (a) universities and (b) companies in each of the last five years; and what the name of each company was.
The information requested is as follows:
1. The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) has spent the following total amounts on joint research projects with universities and companies in the last five years:
