To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government what requirements there are on local authorities to inform her Department of liabilities incurred in the course of their business undertakings.
There are no requirements for local authorities to inform Communities and Local Government specifically about liabilities incurred in the course of their business undertakings. Certain information about their liabilities is disclosed in their published statement of accounts.
