To ask the hon. Member for North Devon, representing the House of Commons Commission if the Commission will develop a workplace travel plan to reduce the environmental impact of travel by House staff.
Nick Harvey
Shadow Secretary of State for Defence
Staff are encouraged to use bicycles through the provision of bicycle loans and cycle racks, and are encouraged to use public transport through the provision of season ticket loans. The possibility of developing a sustainable travel to work policy will be considered as part of developing the House's environmental strategy.
