To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs pursuant to the answer of 6 March 2008, Official Report, column 2715W, on the Centre for Environment Fisheries and Aquaculture (CEFAS): finance, how much he intends to allocate to CEFAS in (a) 2008-09 and (b) each of the next five years; and if he will make a statement.
