To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what reports he has received on concerns about the recent elections in Malta; and if he will make a statement.

The general election in Malta took place on 8 March. We have no reason to believe it was conducted other than in accordance with European standards and democratic principles.
