To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what his estimate is of the revenue recovered by HM Revenue and Customs Compliance and Enforcement Unit in each year since 2003-04.

The results of tackling non-compliance are primarily measured by additional liabilities assessed, and these are shown in the following table for both direct tax and VAT.
