To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport if he will bring forward legislative proposals to put in place mechanisms for enhanced parliamentary oversight of the BBC, with particular reference to its development of (a) local video news services and (b) education websites.

I have no plans to do so. The question of parliamentary oversight of the BBC was fully addressed in the BBC Charter review.
