To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what estimate he has made of the annual cost to the public purse of increasing the pension entitlement of those forces' widows receiving one-third of their late husband's pension entitlement to one-half.
I refer the right hon. Member to the answer given by the then Minister for the Armed Forces on 18 January 2002, Hansard, column 500W. The situation remains unchanged.
