To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how much the Highways Agency has paid in compensation to motorists whose cars have been damaged by the surface of the road on the M5 in the last 12 months.

The Highways Agency has not paid any compensation to motorists whose cars may have been damaged by the surface of the road on the M5 over the last 12 months.
