Casual staff receive the same paid leave entitlements as permanent staff. Entitlement is based on length of qualifying service which is currently set at 25 days on entry but may be increased to 30 days if previous reckonable service has occurred with a recognised public body. In addition all staff receive public and privilege holidays which total 10.5 days. Both are pro rata if they are part-time.
