To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will set a target to increase the use of video-conferencing by his Department to reduce the need to travel to meetings.

The Treasury has 19 video conferencing facilities and is planning to install more. Treasury staff are already actively encouraged to use video-conferencing, instead of travelling to meetings to reduce emissions and save official time.
