Data about general practitioner (GP) practices that have lists closed for the registration of new patients are collected quarterly through the Primary Care Access Survey, and the latest available data are for November 2007 to January 2008. For Westminster Primary Care Trust (PCT), these data showed two practices with closed lists, which is 4 per cent. of the PCTs GP practices. In England, 2 per cent. of GP practices reported that they were operating closed lists.
