To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will set a target to increase the use of video-conferencing by his Department to reduce the need to travel to meetings.

The Scotland Office encourages staff to consider video conferencing facilities first before travelling to meetings. However, this does not always prove possible and a target is not considered appropriate.
