Decisions over the size of a Safer Neighbourhood or Neighbourhood Policing Team are operational considerations for the chief constable, in consultation with community partners and the communities themselves. Sir Ronnie Flanagan has recently endorsed this in his review, saying that there should be no "one size fits all" model or strategy.
