To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how much the Highways Agency spent on safety improvements in each year since 2001, broken down by county; and what the Agency's safety improvement budget is for each of the next three years, broken down by county.

The Agency cannot identify all monies spent on safety improvements without incurring disproportionate costs to obtain this information.
