To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland for what length of time Thomas Purcell had been in Maghaberry prison before being transferred to a young offenders centre in England; what age he had been during his time at Maghaberry; and whether he had been attacked while at Maghaberry prison.

Thomas Purcell was in Maghaberry prison for six weeks prior to his transfer on 27 February 2007. He was 19 years of age and there are no reported incidents of him being attacked while at Maghaberry.
