To ask the Secretary of State for Health what recent research he has commissioned on patient satisfaction with treatment in NHS hospitals.

The Government have one of the world's most comprehensive programmes of patient experience surveys, including the national patient survey programme and Choice survey. This research tells us what people think about the care and treatment they have experienced, and is an essential part of improving services.
