Following the consultation that ended on the 21 December, the Government are currently finalising the technical definitions for the national indicators. As part of this process, we are working closely with other Government Departments and key stakeholders to identify the data collections that will be required for the national indicator set, most of which are likely to be obtained from existing data returns. We anticipate that the majority of definitions will be agreed in time for implementation from April 2008.
