There has been no funding of the European Land Information Service (EULIS) from public expenditure. The service has been developed and financed by a consortium of European land registration authorities, including HM Land Registry, with support from the European Commission's eContent and eTEN funding programmes. Land Registry is a trading fund and, as such, finances its operations from fee income and makes no call on public expenditure.
