To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what recent estimate her Department has made of the number of hours per week of children's programming shown on each public service broadcaster channel; and if she will make a statement.

The most recent figures available, as collected by Ofcom, are for the number of hours of children's programmes broadcast per week in 2006 and these are set out in the table.
