The information requested at various levels of disaggregation is available in Housing Statistics tables on the Communities and Local Government website.

(i) Conversion and demolitions (England) (Table 101)

http://www.communities.gov.uk/pub/17/Table111_id1156017.xls

Due to the way estimates are compiled it is not possible to produce these at a regional or local authority level.

(ii) Housebuilding by tenure and region (Table 231)

http://www.communities.gov.uk/pub/52/Table231_id1156052.xls

Housebuilding by local authority district and tenure (Table 253)

http://www.communities.gov.uk/pub/66/Table253Excel860Kb_id1156066.xls

Due to the timing of when the information is collected the final tenure is not always known so some of the registered social landlord dwellings may be classed as 'private'.
