To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many prison doctors are employed full-time in Wales.

No prison doctor is currently employed in Wales. One doctor is employed part-time by the Prison Service, and the remainder are employed on a sessional basis by various contracted GP service providers. Together they provide a total of 37 sessions per week across the four prisons.
