To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what the cost to his Department was of developing a proposal for a regulatory reform order in respect of the Agricultural Wages Board.

The possible development of a regulatory reform order (RRO) was considered by staff in the DEFRA agricultural wages and labour team. This work was integral to the Department's overall policy considerations in this area and no specific record of time spent on RRO activities was kept.
