To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many NHS hospital beds there are in the Mid-Essex Hospital Trust area; and how many there were in (a) January 1997, (b) January 2001 and (c) May 2005.
The following table shows the average daily number of beds at Mid-Essex Hospital Service NHS Trusts for each of the financial years requested.
