The 'five golden rules' are specific to the Terrace Cafeteria and Members' Tea Room. Implementation is the collective responsibility of the staff, supervisors and line management working in those areas, but no formal steps are anticipated to be necessary for this day-to-day staff management task. Within the senior management of the Refreshment Department, the Catering Operations Manager holds specific responsibility for the delivery of the customer service improvement project and the Director of Catering Services is ultimately responsible for the maintenance of high standards of customer service throughout the Refreshment Department.
