To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government how many lawyers have been employed as permanent staff by Ordnance Survey in the past 12 months.

During the 12 months ended 31 December 2006, Ordnance Survey had no more than seven lawyers. These staff represented 6.2 full-time equivalents.
