To ask the honourable Member for North Devon, representing the House of Commons Commission how much the House spent on advertising with The Guardian newspaper, including online, in the last year for which figures are available.

The House of Commons uses The Guardian, to advertise some vacancies. For the financial year 2005-06 a total of £84,951.34 was spent with The Guardian on placing advertisements, including online advertisements.
