How many employees and other staff were attached to the Northern Ireland Office on 1 December 2006 and on the same day in each of the past four years.

The number of employees and other staff attached to the NIO on 1 December 2006 and on the same day in each of the past four years is detailed in the table below. The increase in staffing levels reflects the expansion of the Public Prosecution Service NI and the creation of the Youth Justice Agency.
