In answering this question I have taken theft of 'weapon-related' equipment to mean stolen weapons and ammunition. Weapons and ammunition are the only types of 'weapon-related equipment' for which central records of thefts are maintained.

The following weapons and ammunition for which the Department was responsible were stolen in the last 12 months:

Type Number listed as stolen
Ammunition 5.56 mm 230
Smoke Grenade Training 2
Baton Round (Blank) 1
Rifle 5.56 mm 6
Rifle No. 8 (Cadet) 4
Pistol 9 mm 2
