To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many people have been injured in Northern Ireland as a result of careless or poor handling of fireworks in each district command unit area in each of the last five years.

Information on the number of people injured as a result of careless or poor handling of fireworks in each district command area in Northern Ireland in each of the last five years is not available. However, Information on the number of people injured as a result of fireworks over the Halloween period, in Northern Ireland, for the years 2001 to 2005 is available and is detailed in the following table.
