To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many nurses, doctors and other specialists in psychiatric and mental health care for vulnerable and at risk children and young adults have been employed by the Prison Service in each of the past 20 years.

Information on the number of staff employed by the Prison Service in the psychiatric and mental health care of vulnerable and at risk children is not held centrally and could only be provided at disproportionate cost.

this is a very interesting question.....maybe we should look at the mindset and ethos of certain establishments and whether workers are able to manouver between such different areas...this could be detrimental for the client, patient, inmate??
