To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if she will make a statement on the work of the Information Operations section of MI6; and what policy applies to the undertaking of operations within the UK.

It is the long-standing policy of the Government not to comment on intelligence matters.
The policy applying to any operation undertaken by the Secret Intelligence Service is governed by the provisions of the Intelligence Services Act (1994).
