Alert me about debates like this
To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many homes registered for elderly mental infirm patients there are in England.
I understand from the Chair of the Commission for Social Care Inspection that, as at 23 March 2006, the latest available figures, the number of care homes registered for older people with mental illness was 1,752.

This still gives us no idea how many poor old souls are being cared for by their relatives up and down the country
