To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what estimate he has made of the percentage of gamebirds shot on commercial shooting estates for human consumption in 2005-06.

No such estimate has been made.

There are no compulsory government schemes collecting national statistics on the number of gamebirds shot for human consumption.
