To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what discussions he has had with the Department for Trade and Industry on developing micro-finance programmes tailored to the needs of women entrepreneurs.

HM Treasury Ministers and officials have regular meetings with counterparts in the Department of Trade and Industry and other departments, and with other organisations in both the public and private sectors, to discuss a wide range of issues as part of the normal processes of enterprise policy analysis and development.
