asked Her Majesty's Government:

In view of the level of detail contained in the franchise specification issued by the Department for Transport, what scope there is for First Great Western trains to respond to the views of the public in its current consultation on its draft timetable.

First Great Western and the department are now considering the responses received from members of the public to the consultation on the draft First Great Western timetable. A further announcement will be made in due course.
