To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many cadaveric donations of organs there were in England in each of the last 10 years for which figures are available; and what the refusal rate was of families asked if they would permit cadaveric donation in each year.

UK Transplant's national potential donor audit began in January 2003, as part of a series of measures to improve organ donation.
