To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will take steps to ensure that the access for disabled people to Gwydyr House is always in working order; and for what reasons it was not working on the evening of 14 December.

Unfortunately due to problems with misuse the gate to the Disabled Access ramp for Gwydyr House is kept locked.

Due to a problem with the process for obtaining the key on the evening of 14 December the gate could not be opened. This was later rectified and the ramp was available later that evening for people leaving the building.

There have been new instructions issued to all relevant personnel to prevent this from happening again.
