Home Department written question – answered at on 9 January 2006.
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department pursuant to the answer of 28 November 2005, Official Report, columns 32–33W, on court proceedings statistics, if he will publish the statistics due to be published in late November.
Data from the court proceedings database held by the Office for Criminal Justice Reform is given in the following tables. It shows the number of defendants proceeded against at the magistrates' court for abduction and offences of supplying alcohol to persons under 18 and those under the influence of alcohol together with those found guilty for supply of alcohol to under 18s.
