To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how much was spent on transport provided for children travelling to and from each school in Northern Ireland in the last year for which figures are available.
The requested information is not held in respect of individual schools. However in the 2004–05 financial year a total of £64 million was spent on school transport. The expenditure in each Board area was as follows:
